Who We Are
Founded in 1893, J.J. Brenner Oyster Company is one of the oldest growers and
shippers of oysters in the Puget Sound. Today, the company is in the hands of
the fourth generation of the Brenner family. We are immensely proud of our
heritage, but also look to the future to keep growing more shellfish to more
markets world wide.

What We Do
Quality is our number one priority at J.J. Brenner Oyster Company. Our shellfish
beds are in the clean, fresh waters of the lower Puget Sound in Washington State.
To provide the best service and the freshest product, we harvest one hundred
percent of our oysters and clams within a nine-mile radius of our headquarters.
All our oysters and clams are grown in Totten Inlet, Eld Inlet, Hood Canal and
Little Skookum Inlet where our plant is located. At our plant is where we chill, sort
and box and ship all our shellfish.
